Mike Mentzer was a body builder way back in the 70’s and 80’s who’s controversial training was not liked by some other bodybuilders of that era like Arnold, although Mike should have won Mr Olympia with his outstanding muscularity and symmetry. Mike’s HIT training is still popular today among some bodybuilders as it’s purpose is to only train to failure on one set for each muscle, as Mike says “Less is More” leaving 72 hours for recovery and muscle growth.
