Clips from my podcast interview with Jim Wendler (creator of 5/3/1) where we discussed top set back-off training for hypertrophy. 531 is a strength program focused on the squat, bench press, deadlift, and overhead press.

It can be adapted for bodybuilding (classically using Wendler’s Boring But Big setup), and the top set back-off method used in this programming style can be transferred into programs designed for muscle growth.
