Fitness Workout for Men

Imagine that you were about to throw yourself into an incredibly ambitious challenge, giving yourself about a quarter of the time that most people would need to accomplish it. What would you want to do first?

Kris Gethin had to ask himself that question when he decided to prepare for a full Ironman triathlon in only six months time, rather than the traditional 1 or even 2 years. And his first step was clear: Get input from an expert coach who understood his vision, and then subject himself to every test that would help him be a more informed athlete along the way.

That’s exactly what he does in this, the opening episode of his Man of Iron video series. Kris’ coach, accomplished triathlete, ultra-runner, and powerlifter Alex Viada, joins him as he tests his limits in the lab and introduces Kris to the style of training that will dominate his life for the next six months.

This won’t be easy. Even Kris doesn’t know how the story ends yet. But you can be damn sure he’s going to make it a memorable battle.
