The workout consists of three exercises: push ups, tricep extensions, and tricep dips (AKA bench dips). They all target the triceps brilliantly and are exercises I’ve used for years to build muscle in my triceps, so you can rest assured they’re truly effective.
As far as beginner calisthenics exercises go, the tricep exercises in this video are also great for building the strength needed to perform more advanced calisthenics exercises. Push ups are an excellent foundation for other exercises like diamond push ups and archer push ups. Tricep extensions on your knees prepare your triceps for tricep extensions on a bar. Bench dips strengthen your triceps and shoulders, making it easier to transition to tricep dips on parallel bars.
The best part about this workout is that no equipment is needed – it’s a pure calisthenics workout, meaning you only need your bodyweight. That means it can be done anywhere, anytime. Now you have an easy and accessible way to build muscle at home with just your body.
