Kate Hudson isn’t just an acclaimed actress — she’s also a bonafide entrepreneur. She founded the athleticwear brand Fabletics and wellness brand InBloom. Like acting, her passion for fitness and wellness started with her family. “I grew up that way and watched my parents care for and honor themselves to be strong and healthy and balance it out. . . . I think it rubbed off on all of us except Oliver [Hudson]. Oliver’s still working at it,” she quips. “I just like to feel healthy. I like to feel strong.”

Hudson wants to use her platform to encourage others to take ownership of their health and discover what makes them feel their best. “The way we eat, the way we move, and how we supplement are going to support our mental stability,” she explains. Her mission with both Fabletics and InBloom is to make wellness feel less intimidating. “Make it fun, and hopefully, people will start to shift their lifestyle in a way that doesn’t feel so hard for them.”

With the holidays approaching, a big way to prioritize self-care and ease stress is to pace yourself. Hudson recommends avoiding scrambling for last-minute gifts so that you can be thoughtful and enjoy the process. “Sentimentality goes a long way for me, so when all else fails, you get personal,” she explains. “Really think about the people you’re buying for, and get them what they need and what they would love,” she advises. Like the rest of us, she loves to save money and take advantage of sales and any cash-back opportunities, like Rakuten. Hudson partnered with Rakuten this holiday season and created a gift guide with all her wellness gifting picks.

As for her go-to holiday movie, it’s the long-awaited “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” in which she stars in alongside Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, and Dave Bautista. “I can’t tell you a thing. But what I can tell you is you’ll have a blast!” she explains. And filming the “Knives Out” sequel was just as thrilling. “It was so much fun. We all really loved each other so much and had such a great time,” she says.

Beyond sharing her enthusiasm for the health and wellness space and her excitement over “Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery,” Hudson let us in on her current product obsessions. From a classic pair of Christian Louboutin Kate Pumps to InBloom’s chocolate-flavored Vegan Protein Powder, these are Hudson’s must-have picks.
