Today is a strength and conditioning workout which focuses on strength training and cardio supersets. We will perform 30 seconds of a strength exercise, rest for 15 seconds then perform 30 seconds of a cardio exercise and rest for 15 seconds. We will complete each superset three times! Our last superset will be 45 seconds per exercise and 15 seconds rest for 3 rounds and this superset will gradually increase in difficulty each round.
I used anywhere from my 10 pound dumbbells up to my 30 pound dumbbells for this workout.
I also used my bench and bosu as I am almost 25 weeks pregnant and I will be performing some modifications for our core work. Grab your bench if you have one so we can crush it together!
The exercises:
1. Alternating Shoulder Press
2. 3 high knee skips and a double skip
3. Front Racked Squat
4. Jumping Jack x 2 high knee clap under x2
5.Dumbbell Jackknives
6. Mountain Climbers x 4 and 2 plank jacks
7. Renegade Rows
8. Bench toe taps x4 and burpee
9. Sumo Squat to Squat jump
10. Jump Rope Left x 2 right x2
11. Toe Touches
12. Squat taps x2, knee taps x 2, jacks x2
13. Snatch combo with lunge, then push press, then thruster
14. High Knee sprint
