Take the legs for a spin with these speedy 5K repeats

This week’s workout is the Buffalo 5K Blitz.

Here is a power-based twist on a classic 5K workout inspired by Stryd employee Val and her time in the University of Colorado track & field program. This workout will have you running ten hard 500s at your goal 5K power with very short rest in between. At the end of the run, you will add up the time for each 500 and have an estimated 5K time for race day.

You can add the Buffalo 5K Blitz into your 5K training plan using the Training Plan Builder or add it directly to your calendar a few weeks out from race day!
