A day before her 19th birthday, Canadian tennis player Leylah Fernandez made it to the quarterfinals of the US Open. Before watching her play today, check out this video showing part of her training the week before. There’s a lot of running drills (well, sprinting), jumping over cones, practicing swings, and she also trained on different surfaces — not just on the tennis court. Even if you’re not a huge tennis fan, you can still find inspiration in seeing the intensity of Fernandez’s training. No wonder she made it this far!
