This pose of Hatha Yoga called Garudasana means “King of birds”. It improves your balance and stretches your upper back, shoulders and outer thighs. It also creases joint mobility in the ankles, knees, hip girdle, shoulder, elbow, wrist and scapula. Feel free to hold this pose from 15 to 60 sec before switching sides. Do not forget to maintain the pace of your breath.
