    While exercise is great for your health it is not the best way to lose fat. Studies show that if you need to lose weight you have to change your eaten habits. It takes a long time to burn calories and very short time to eat them. Exercise can help a bit, but its contribution to the weight loss effort is small, around 20%. I found this a hard concept to grasp but it seems to be what science is telling us.

    You keep on preaching high-intensity stuff. Consider joint strain and recovery time.

    If I did 20mins of intervals I would burn around 300 calories. I could do this about 3-4 times a week(I need recovery time cause of the intensity).

    If I did a lower intensity for 30mins or so I can burn the same amount of calories 300. I can do this every day, thus this will burn more calories in the long run.

    What I WONT be doing is running on the stair master ! I mess around and fall flat of my face then I'd have to get up and leave and pray no one saw that epic fail 😂😭

    I've lost 30lbs so far on the elliptical. Getting your heart rate up is getting your heart rate up. It doesn't matter if your heart rate is high during the elliptical or Zumba or on the stairs. You're burning calories. You should have focused on proper form on the elliptical.

    If you try jogging on the step mill with out holding onto the hand rails you will fall off at some point. Don't hang off the damn machine but use common sense

    one of the best videos related to fat loss essentials, hope all those people could see these hints, it's really bumps me up to see people spend like 1 hour in the gym only for cardio and at the end they may burn at most 50-100 calories. I myself found HIIT method the best method for fat loss, very very quick, not boring, great for preserving muscle, toning the body, and after workout effect for fat loss also is great.

    Do you have any recommendations for high impact exercise that doesn't involve jumping? Burpees, jumping jacks, etc just kill my shins (I get really bad shin splints that take me out for a few days when I do these sorts of workouts).
